GIS-Based Forest Management System Integrating Forest Growth Prediction Model
Track: Modeling
Author(s): Eun-Jin Jun, Woo-Kyun Lee, Chong-soo Lee

A Geographic information system helps to efficiently manage massive quantities of information about forest resources and contributes in making an effective forest plan. A forest growth prediction model is used as a tool for predicting forest change by time and silvicultural treatment. We integrated a forest growth prediction model to a GIS-based forest management system in order to interactively show forest development in a GIS-based forest management system.
