Abstract
Commander of Navy Installations GIS Enterprise Architecture Track: Defense and Intelligence Author(s): Robin O'Connell The Commander of Navy Installations' GIS Governance Message of September 2004 stated the Navy's intention to maximize the use of GIS to efficiently manage the shore infrastructure using Esri products as the standard. The resulting concept of operations and strategy realigned the Navy's geospatial organization, defined a "to be" architecture, and created the process to achieve this objective. This presentation will define the Navy's GIS enterprise architecture and describe the progress toward implementation.
