Abstract
Air Mobility Command: Airfield Criteria Guide Track: Defense and Intelligence Author(s): Chris Nolan The Airfield Criteria Guide (ACG) is a "one-stop shopping" Web search application that provides in place indexing and context display for all airfield guidance documentation. The ACG provides a central point of access to guidance documents for the construction of real property that supports airfield operations and specifies restrictions on real property in proximity to the airfield and construction activities on the airfield. The ACG Web application was written on the .NET Framework, and ArcIMS is employed to give the airfield planner a visual reference for searching the over four hundred document repository. Documents are harvested from their locations on the Internet, Air Force intranet, or local directories and loaded into Oracle9i and indexed using Oracle Text.
