GIS--A Tool to Communicate Sustainable Development Track: Defense and Intelligence Author(s): Joe Rexroad, Forrest Lamb The paper will discuss how GIS is being used as a tool to communicate sustainable development at the Naval Air Station Joint reserve base. It's just one tool in an arsenal to manage the volume of geospatial data used to communicate sustainable planning concepts to stakeholders, promote facility re-use, help preserve open space, and more. It's an indispensable tool used to manage the built-up environment at military installations.
