A Geographic Database Design for Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Response Track: Education Author(s): Douglas Weinstein, Theresa Ellis The international humanitarian community responds to a wide variety of crises and disasters that are challenging in their variability, scale, timelines, resources, and politics. The development of a geographic database of information resources distributed in the form of a WebGIS website can help improve communication and decision-making during a humanitarian relief effort.
