The UAV Geodynamic Layer for Joint Intelligence Operations
Track: Defense and Intelligence
Author(s): Wayne Hall, David Bissett

The use of UAV systems for military operations has proven useful. The ability to leverage the UAV platforms with other types of platforms is critical to effective joint operations. By integrating the UAV systems with other battlefield land, sea, air, and space assets, joint operations are provided with the tactical and strategic intelligence necessary to exploit and analyze battlespace imagery, optimize military response time, and increase war fighter effectiveness.

By using Esri's ArcObjects platform integrated with AGI's technology to provide, receive, layer, fuse, and display pertinent intelligence data, the Army's intelligence organizations can more effectively plan, execute, and analyze operations and collections using UAV platforms. This discussion will examine the fusion of UAV information with other tactical information. This fusion provides both strategic and tactical commanders with geodynamic layers.

This presentation will highlight how geodynamic layers can be utilized within defense organizations and operations.
