Abstract
Parcel Data Model and Geodatabase Design for Pakistan Land Records System Track: Cadastral and Land Records Author(s): Fawad Raza This paper aims to present the parcel data model and geodatabase design of Pakistan's conventional Land Records System. There may be different data models for different areas depending upon user needs, usability system requirements and system limitations, which is why normally, a customized combination of various data models is used in geodatabase design. The same is the case with conventional Land Records System. In this study different approaches will be discussed to justify this data model. Major tools that are used in this system are ArcIMS, ArcSDE 9.0, and Oracle9i. This model was tested and implemented in one sub tahsil of a federal district and results will be discussed and cross compared.
