U.S. Census Bureau Geographic Partnership Programs
Track: Census and Geodemographics
Author(s): Linda Franz, Alfred Pfeiffer

A panel of experts will discuss programs through which tribal, state, and local governments can ensure that the Census Bureau employs current, accurate, and useful geographic information (for roads, legal boundaries, statistical areas, and addresses) for its censuses and surveys. The discussion will stress how advances in GIS improve the interchange of geographic information as well as the goals and schedules for the geographic partnership programs.
