Industrial Cluster Analysis Using GIS: A Case Study of Indiana
Track: State and Local Government
Author(s): Christine Nolan, Indraneel Kumar

This project explores the use of GIS for industrial cluster analysis, a regional and urban economic development tool, using an Indiana region as a case study. The objective is to develop a GIS database that can be used for regional economic analyses; for support in identifying industrial clusters; to map industrial clusters; and prepare reports. The research will also attempt to attach "regional economic model" results into the GIS database for cluster analysis.
