Abstract
Using ArcIMS to Allocate Employment/Population Forecasts to Small Areas Track: State and Local Government Author(s): Gaylord Burke MVPC, a regional agency in Massachusetts, has developed a disaggregation methodology to allocate employment and population forecasts to small geographic areas based on GIS data layers relating to building suitability and location. The application uses Esri's ArcInfo backbone integrated with MassGIS buildout data layers and REMI econometric model regional forecasts.
