Abstract
PACAF GeoBase Mapping Framework: Power to the People Track: Defense and Intelligence Author(s): Wendell Craven Using Latitude Geographics's GeoCortex suite to leverage enterprise database assets and direct attribute editing and spatial editing through the secure authoritative Web interface has changed how GIS can support data stewards or subject matter experts. This capability allows end users to maintain data that rightfully belongs to them; however, in the past, GIS professionals had to either maintain or train individuals in ArcGIS. Data can be made available, editable, and linkable in standard formats and processes through the mapping framework.
