Abstract
 Using GIS for Environmental Compliance of Hydro-electric Facility Licensing Track: Environmental Management Author(s): Geoffrey Rabone, Katherine Everett SCE is developing a compliance program to be followed prior to implementation of operation and maintenance activities. ISSI has developed a GIS tool in support of this program. Its purpose is to ensure correct implementation of specific operation and maintenance activities in compliance with avoidance protection measures developed for the Big Creek relicensing project areas. The tool incorporates species habitats with their corresponding avoidance protection measures based on maintenance activity. After the maintenance area and activity are indicated a list of all appropriate avoidance protection measures is generated along with a map of the area.
