Esri Enterprise GIS: Implementing GeoBase Communications Mission Data Set
Track: Defense and Intelligence
Author(s): Frankie Carson, James Wright, Brad Miller

Command and Control relies heavily on Communications and Computers-rounding out the cluster of "C's" in C4ISR. An installation's Communications infrastructure, whether in a Garrison or Expeditionary setting, is an absolutely critical utility system whose assets must be completely and effectively characterized, carefully protected and maintained, and nimbly planned and managed for optimum support of the War Fighter mission. HQ Air Mobility Command Directorate of Communications and Information (HQ AMC/A6) made a strategic investment in the mapping of Communications infrastructure using ArcGIS products.
