Abstract
 The Importance of Esri for 9-1-1 Track: EMS/Fire Author(s): Dan Lair, Duain Gomez, Charlie Broomhead Since the FCC requires all wireless emergency calls to be located on a map in the United States, the impetus of our 9-1-1 District services in the Panhandle of Texas is employment of GIS and dynamic digital mapping of 9-1-1 calls at our call centers (PSAPs). How we use Esri applications to locate emergency calls for fire, police, and EMS response--be they wired, wireless, or VoIP--is the focus of this presentation.
