Abstract
Integrated GIS for Base Public Works Track: Defense and Intelligence Author(s): Sandrine Bielmann, John Terry NAVFAC MIDLANT is providing an integrated GIS solution for MIDLANT's Utility and Energy Management (UEM) Public Works business line. The vision of the GIS solution is to reduce energy costs by analyzing and acting on information extracted from usage data aggregated from existing energy management systems. This effort involves all the commodities owned by UEM Public Works Business line, starting with the electric system on Little Creek Amphibious Base as a pilot and integrating other asset management systems in future phases. These systems include CUBIC, CIRCUITS, Maximo, SCADA and AMR. Other commodities will be piloted as the data models are approved.
