Effective tax property Collection Through Efficient Web access to

Three Land Registry Databases

Alejandro Catalan, 45, State of Guerrero, Mexico Cadastre General Coordinator, will demonstrate the integrated solution that evaluates, geo references, and processes various attributes inherent to land registry tax collection, which has been applied to 17 Mexican municipalities. The solution entails the cross reference among three databases: cartographic, tax collection, and legal digital documents including facade photographs of properties.

The system is already implemented and operating in the State of Guerrero, delivering an excellent outcome with figures to be discussed during the session. It is the first one of its kind and was developed by the same team recognized with the Esri International Award in 2001.

The system collaborates in virtual interoperability with remote offices, connected to a central server stationed in the State capital city, Chilpancingo. By using thin client solutions for the three applications there was no cumbersome task of installing any software in the cities' PCs
