Rapid urbanization has redefined national environmental due diligence and risk management standards. As a result, the environmental industry is constantly being approached to source and track site-specific changes in landscape and property usage to fulfill the requirements and alleviate encumbrances. This has completely transformed the traditional process of storing map data on microfiche to robust integrated digital data systems.

The digital map data leverages content into valuable decision support information that can be used on a broad scale and enhances the precision of historical information with quality and quick turn-around time for the industry.

This paper describes Esri’s ArcGIS capabilities in revolutionizing the historical information as seamless integrated database to serve environmental industry needs with full spectrum of reliable, refined and accurate image management solutions.
