Using ArcGIS for Visualizing Historical Data from Building Management System

Masaryk University implements Building Management System (BMS) based on BACNet open protocol. BMS provides a means of storing a historical building operation data in the relational database. We describe our experience with joining the historical data from BMS and university’s data of floor plans and 3D models of buildings. In addition, we discuss possible ArcGIS methods for animating the changes of this data in time.
