Track: Disaster Management and Emergency Response
Author(s): Takafumi Sogabe, Eiji Ishiyama, Toru Yamano

In Hiroshima prefecture, steep mountains and hills account for three-quarters of the whole, with a wide distribution of granite subject to weathering.Such geographical and geological features may easily cause landslide disasters. Many of landslide disaster preventive facilities, including sabo dams and grating crib works, have been developed. However, with budget constraints, for all locations at risk of landslide disaster does not improve performance.

So, In Hiroshima prefecture, for publication of area at risk of landslide disasters through the Internet and enlightenment of the disaster prevention awareness, we built web system “Map of Locations at Risk of Landslide Disaster” showing an area at risk of landslide disaster by GIS.

In this report, I report about ' Map of Locations at Risk of Landslide Disaster' built by ArcGIS Server.
