Realizing Port of Portland’s Investment in Imaging through Image Server

The Port is engaged in a multi-year implementation of ArcServer GIS aimed at achieving a wide variety of business benefits. This second generation GIS implementation achieves many business benefits, is more sustainable, and provides a better return on investment. The Port of Portland has a significant investment in highly accurate imagery and LIDAR. This talk will provide an overview of how we have substantially improved the utilization of our imagery through the use of IMAGE SERVER. We will also demonstrate our IMAGE SERVER implementation as part of the presentation.
