Author(s): Douglas Edmonds

The SRP GIS Program has developed numerous tools designed to assist day-to-day operations and business processes that directly support Soldiers training on Army ranges and training lands.

The Range Managers Toolkit (RMTK) is a suite of tools utilizing GIS technology as a means to aid Range Control personnel with daily operations and planning tasks, while ensuring realistic and safe training opportunities exist.

The Military Installation Map Toolkit (MIMT) is a set of tools assisting in the creation of standardized maps by developing common military surround elements.

The SRP GIS Tracker is an enterprise web-based application which tracks, updates, and queries daily SRP GIS personnel activities, including geospatial data development/maintenance, analysis, technical support, and map production, in order to develop programmatic policy, guidance, and budgets.

The Army Mapper is the enterprise web-based authoritative system for distributing geospatial information, products, and services for a variety of functional areas across Army installations.
