The CUAHSI Hydrologic Information System (CUAHSI-HIS) provides WaterOneFlow web services, tools, standards and procedures that enhance access to more and better data for hydrologic analysis. WaterOneFlow web services are used as a standard means of publishing observations data regardless of the data source. These services are consumed in a variety of applications, such as the HydroGET tool for ArcMap. WaterOneFlow services are complemented by a Web Feature Service (WFS) created with ArcGIS Server to provide site locations and metadata about the observations. This paper demonstrates how CUAHSI-HIS can be used to discover and retrieve time series data, discusses the current status of HIS, and highlights future HIS development.
