Performance Measuring and Deployment Planning in EMS

Understanding the triad of EMS call volume (when, where, and how much)can be a daunting task, add to that the difficulty in planning placement of ambulance stations and you have a problem that only GIS can solve accurately. We will demonstrate how we measure our performance, and how to use that information to effectively deploy your fleet. Demonstations include 3-D visualization using ArcGIS Explorer and modeling using Network Analyst Extension.
