AbstractCity of Los Angeles Facility Siting AnalysisTrack: Public Works Author The goal of this study was to identify suitable facility sites for the City of Los Angeles Bureau of Sanitation. The analysis has effectively removed or ranked potential sites in the study area such that field surveys will be focused and efficient, and that the final site selection will be quantitatively defendable. The analysis was organized as an additive model, where each factor had a systematic ranking system that was parameterized by a multiplicative weight. Esri's Model Builder and Python scripting language were used to automate this model.
