We have developed a system that processes all fields integrally related to the collection of property and land taxes.
The system consists of 12 items that are interrelated:
Collection and management of property tax
Urban cadastre 1:1,000 mapping ( cities )
Collaborative Portal using ArcGis-9.3 and MS-Sharepoint
Advanced cadastral procedures
Fiscal intelligence
Linkage with urban development, land uses and prospective plans
Linkage with the of ownership state office
Linkage with potable water management office
Rural cadastre 1:10,000 ( ranchs & farms )
Three-dimensional models - DEM-
Linkage with Pacific Ocean Federal Zones management office
Revenue Potential for all municipalities
The system works entirely over the Internet in thin client mode.
102% increased tax collection and 262% federal funds as a reward for that.
It simplifies and standardizes many work processes for several municipalities simultaneously. Currently used in 18 municipalities of Guerrero.
Received award from Federal Congress for better e-government practices.
