AbstractAir National Guard Real Property Geospatial Gap AnalysisTrack: Defense and Intelligence Author The objective of the Real Property Geospatial Gap Analysis was to establish survey grade legal base boundaries. This one effort had two outcomes; Assisting NGB/A7AR (real estate branch) toward better understanding the current status of Air National Guard (ANG) interests, and determining how reflective those interests are within the ANG GIO data repository. The gap analysis also affirmed the Real Property team as an ANG GIO stakeholder. This also facilitated a better understanding of how the ANG GeoBase Program can help assist Real Property both with enhancing accuracy of their land holdings instruments. Seventy-three installations were included and encompassed surveyor review of over 300 land based surveys. The gap analysis revealed 90% of the assessed surveys needed some level of remediation and 71% needed a completely new survey. The presentation will outline the methodology, DoD regulations, assessment components, findings and recommendations.
