An enterprise view of an organization's information exchange needs, data standards, systems, and business processes are fundamental elements to understanding how to improve interoperability and achieve net-centric information sharing. In a cross-boundary environment, such as Defense Support of Civil Authorities (DSCA), achieving this enterprise view and seamless access to information resources pose great challenges.

In support of the DoD net-centric data strategy and business transformation goals, The DISDI Program has challenged the defense installations community to develop processes that break project level geospatial data out of its stovepipes and into the enterprise level. This presentation will describe the DISDI vision of providing accurate and authoritative Installation & Environment geospatial data as an enterprise resource for Title 32 operations, and highlight examples of sharing geospatial information and services across business domains.
