Open-ocean Aquaculture Site Evaluation using ArcServer and Flex
Track: Ocean and Maritime
Authors: Michael Parke
Open-ocean aquaculture holds a great deal of promise to meet the ever-growing demands for seafood in a time of dwindling wild stocks. At the Pacific Islands Fisheries Science Center, we have developed a WWW-based tool that allows aquaculture businesses, regulators, and community groups to evaluate potential sites.
