Leveraging GIS to Improve Communication and Efficiency

In 2007 the City of St. Louis Citizens’ Service Bureau, the City’s centralized call center, began evaluating how it shares data with the departments it supports. It was determined the existing system was inefficient and not meeting current needs. The City favored a map based solution and selected Cityworks. This presentation will cover how the CSB, Traffic, Forestry and Street Divisions are leveraging GIS to improve departmental communication, increase efficiency and support business decisions.
