NC Emergency Management uses a crisis information management system called NC SPARTA to pull data from many sources and serve it back to decision makers as information that can be used during activation. NC SPARTA allows state and local managers to create & assign resource requests, report shelter status, and assign tasks / alert users. NC SPARTA serves as a common operating picture by displaying current data spatially through an ArcGIS Server web application.
