Multispectral Data Analysis: Drone Acquired Images to Finished Product

Unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) are becoming a major resource for small area analysis to reduce cost and increase temporal and spatial resolution. However most UAVs use a single resolution camera to collect broad banded data limiting data to the visible spectrum. This research collects data from the visible and near infrared using a multispectral and tetracam system. GIS analysis on this data is more robust and applicable over a variety of fields and analysis types.
