Assessment of GIS Education in Multi-Disciplinary Environment

CEPT University, Ahmedabad, India teaches ArcGIS since early 1990s to its students of Architecture, Planning, Engineering, Habitat Management and design. This paper represents the compilation of the result from a survey carried out of these students to assess the importance and applications of GIS in their respective fields. Result of the study is being used in designing and modifying the syllabus for respective disciplines.
