Modeling a Water Supply Network Building a GIS For Water Loss Control

This map shows the results of a hydraulic model proposed to reactivate a reservoir located at the neighborhood of Copacabana, Rio de Janeiro. At the DMA, District Metered Area, Pressures and Flows values, and the cost table, the targets of this work, were generated and could be showed very well. This work uses ArcGIS tools to set and feed a GIS, with Postgres, GISWATER, QGIS and EPANET. Main tools used: VERONI, INTERSECT, INTERPOLATION, EXTRACT VALUES,TOPO TO RASTER and EXTRAC TO POINTS.
