Developing an Information System for Pipeline Construction

This presentation will discuss the design and construction of a web based spatial information system that is able to accept various types of data in a variety of data formats that originate from the field or office work when constructing a gas or petroleum pipeline. The system is used by surveyors, engineers, construction managers and owners to monitor the planning, design, construction and cost of pipeline assets. The result is a Right of Way Information Management System or (RIMS).
