The presenters will begin with an overview of the value of designing Web applications based on end-user needs and other project planning aspects. Based on those needs, they will step through the processes for building excellent Web maps, including using ArcGIS Desktop to author both base and operational maps, analyzing and tuning maps for performance, ArcGIS Server map publishing concepts, benefits of map service caching, and other tips and tricks for authoring and publishing maps used in your Web applications.
