Abstract
Rainfall Climatology over Gujarat with NASA satellite Data Products
Track: Teaching with GIS in Higher Education

Gujarat is considered as high rainfall variablity region in India. Hence we have made an attempt to study the rainfall climatology for the Western India Usign TRMM satellite data prouct of Nasa from 1998 to 2008, also the results have been varified with the gound observed datasets. All the process has been done in Arc-GIS-9., this sutdy will help for management of water resources as well as Urben planning and developement.
