AbstractLandslide Risk Analysis: A Geoprocessing Task Using ArcGIS Model Builder Track: Teaching with GIS in Higher Education Author This document will describe how ArcGIS 9.3 Model Builder was utilized to build a geoprocessing model to predict landslide potential in Harlan County, Kentucky. The customized scripting enables the end user to make simple modifications to the geoprocessing model to incorporate different variables and/or parameters into a subsequent model of a different geographic area where conditions may vary from the Appalachian region of eastern Kentucky.
