Using ArcGIS Desktop in a Statistics Course

This presentation is about utilizing ArcGIS Desktop in a statistics course titled Data Analysis & Interpretation. It's a course introducing spatial statistics to geography, GIScience, geology, and meteorology majors. Traditional software such as S-Plus and SPSS has always been the the choice of software for spatial statistics, but visualizing data over space with these applications can be cumbersome. With the available statistical tools in ArcGIS Desktop, visualizing data over space has its advantages.
