I`m a normal 9th grade student and if there is one thing I love in my school is the geography. At first, when you would study geography, it was all about getting a book and memorizing a map. But not now, for me and a few other students is not. Now, we can make our own map. Using the GIS program, we can have fun learning GIS.
GIS can be used not only in geography but in history to. I remember going to a GIS class where we had to do a map of routes showing how Brazil was discovered.
Maybe for students from 5th to 9th grade, GIS is about learning without a book once in a while, and if everyone knew how helpful it is to do your own map and not having to memorize it, more people would pass and less would fail.
