This portion of the educational awareness activity designed to increase knowledge about geospatial, environmental, ecological, and agricultural systems in East Central Texas was partitioned into 4 learning zones. Zone 1 - Hay Meadow and Riparian Area; Zone 2 - Pasture Management Area; Zone 3 - Animal Production Area; and Zone 4 - Farm Operation Area, each zone allows a broad range of learning about each aspect of the integrated agroecological system. Students, staff and faculty are invited to participate in the designed outdoor activity that promotes hands on and experiental learning in a meadow, pasture and mixed hardwood savannah setting. Pre-test and post-test questions assess the learner's initial knowledge level and corresponding increase in knowledge gained through activity participation.
