The Geospatial Semester is a dual enrollment program that allows high school students to earn college credit from James Madison University while they learn geospatial technologies and apply them to common day issues.
In this presentation, we will highlight the ease of data collection using editable feature services on mobile devices such as phones or tablets. After the collected data is downloaded and analyzed using ArcGIS Desktop Software the results are re-shared to the geospatial community via ArcGIS Online.
We will show the versitility of this cloud based system by sharing several school, problem based scenarios: campus cell phone and WiFi coverage, and school facilities management.
