Geospatial resources to engage learners across educational spectrums

Several challenges associated with teaching geospatial technologies (GST) include preparing course material current with respect to changes in software, technology, and data; issues handled with efficacy in a university setting. A greater mission is keeping non-university level educators and other users of GST abreast and proficient with such changes. In our presentation we discuss Virginia Tech's approach, which includes both challenges and successes through our geospatial outreach programs.
