GeoTech Center Model Courses: GIScience & Spatial Reasoning GE Course

In collaboration with the Department of Labor (DOL), the NSF-funded GeoTech Center spearheaded the efforts to create the DOL Geospatial Technology Competency Model (GTCM). The Center has developed a series of Model Courses aligned to the competencies of the GTCM. In this presentation, we will share the content of the general education GIScience & technology “Awareness” course (outline, activity modules, lectures, assessments). All course materials are freely downloadable and customizable.
