Despite the expansion in higher education and the demand for professionals in Agriculture Information Management, Mozambique and Cape Verde still suffer from a shortage of experts, for the needed changes in society and professional education. Answering these challenges, ISEGI-NOVA, with Univ Cape Verde, Catholic Univ, Mozambique and ESRI-Portugal, conceived a GIS based project (AgIM – Agricultural Information Management and Precision Farming)to strenghten human and institutional capacity.
