4-H National Youth Science Day & the Geospatial Connection

This year Cornell Coop. Ext.4-H partnered with, ESRI, USGS and others to provide a nation-wide platform for thousands of youth to gain experience and understanding in GIS and GPS science. In Brooklyn NY, 4H helped nearly 500 4th – 6th grade youth celebrate 4-H National Science Day by engaging them in activities included in the Maps & Apps 4-H National Science project.
The program engaged the leadership of many teens, two of whom attended the ESRI Edu and International Users Conference in 2013.
