Online Course Materials for Spatial Thinking

One of challenges for online GIS educators is to teach diverse students about the significance of spatial thinking. Some students have no background in spatial sciences. Accordingly, students’ spatial literacy levels vary in the same online classroom. In response to this situation, I developed a teaching module of spatial thinking to raise its awareness. In this presentation, I introduce exercises and materials I have used in my online introductory-level GIS course for graduate students.
