Track: Learning and Research Lightning Talk

Cartographic education is an important topic which may benefit from more formal discussion and sharing of various types of topics, including research agenda items, best practices, innovative teaching techniques, and assessment of outcomes. The open-access journal Cartographic Perspectives is interested in providing such a forum. I will discuss the role we see a formal, edited journal fulfilling, and the manners in which educators can contribute.
