Abstract
An Exploration of Geospatial Centers on University Campuses
Track: Learning and Research Panel Discussion
Authors: Sophia Linn
Many universities have established a geospatial center to serve their students, faculty, and community. However, the structure, purpose, history, and support of these entities varies widely. This session will examine the diversity of these centers and enable us to share our experiences and learn from one another. By including representatives from a number of universities, we will explore the myriad ways that geospatial centers can support a campus and find creative ways to support themselves.
