Learn how a guided inquiry approach provides fourth grade students with the opportunity to explore key curriculum topics in an integrated social studies/science course. Experience how the map-based curriculum design uses layered pdfs and online maps to support student discovery and understanding of key geographic concepts and relationships. Explore how the student-generated “findings” are used to investigate problems such as the source of the city’s drinking water and to make informed decisions.
