Abstract
CJI Students Build Town and Country GIS Infrastructure
Track: Learning and Research Lightning Talk
Authors: Gail Shatkus
CJI Students are providing GIS solutions to the city and county by mapping the infrastructure. Students solve building problems at the airport. Students gathered Centimeter accurate RTK Rover data (25 miles from the base) for a follow on grant that will provide a GPS signal that will reach 3/4 of Liberty County and become a GIS solution for local ranchers and farmers. A County GIS Office has been created. The students will train and create community maps.
